After talking with some of our readers over the phone, this week the majority of people said that they’d like to learn about some useful Magento plug-ins. So, without dragging the intro on for too long, here are 3 game changing Magento plugins:

Magento developers occasionally need to test your cart by placing orders. Delete orders makes it easy to do this as it allows developers to delete orders from the admin. Why is it necessary to test orders? The reason why thousands of developers are testing orders is due to the fact that they need to see if it still working as it should, this usually is tested after some part of the site is upgraded. The upgrade can be a new module or a shopping cart feature. Another reason why we would test orders is to see whether the after sales e-mail is sent to the customer. Once they’re there, you can utilise useful tools and psychology to make sure they buy something before they leave…but that’s another story altogether. SERP (search engine results page) editor will display exactly how your website shows up on search engines when searched using specific keywords. SERP editor basically allows you to visualise what your search result looks like on search engines, thus allowing you to make changes which will hopefully bring in more visitors. Again, it’s free.
