Access to Amazon Blocked Temporarily by Hackers

Hackers believed to be reacting to the attempted extradition of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange managed to block access to the Amazon website as a response to the company refusing to host the WikiLeaks website on their servers.

Hackers managed to block the British, Italian and German versions of the site and the hackers, who many believe to be art of the group calling themselves Anonymous, may carry out more attacks on firms that stopped providing services to WikiLeaks.

Servers are now back in use and neither Amazon or Anonymous have released any form of statement.
