Companies are sometimes so hung up about Page 1 positions that they almost forget whether those key phrases are actually delivering the goods or not.
Getting on page 1 against the right key phrase is much better than having 10 page 1 key phrases that do not perform. I hear many shouting, “how do we find out?” Well, with advanced statistics packages now available on the market and with free packages like Google Analytics, there is no reason why you should not be in charge of obtaining this knowledge.
