Computer Hackers Attack Swedish Governmental Website
A group of computer hackers have attacked a Swedish governmental website, forcing it to go offline for several hours due to the denial of service attack.
The attack appears to be from the same group that have been showing support for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, and certainly seems to follow the same pattern as a spate of attacks carried out by a group calling themselves Anonymous.
Swedish MP Goran Lindblad says “Well it’s of course a criminal act on the same level as when the Russians blocked the Estonian websites for political reasons. This is just about the same and it’s not acceptable.”
