Google Acquire Patent for Google Doodles

Google have acquired a brand new patent for its increasingly popular cyclig logo system, which is also known as Google Doodles.

U.S. Patent 7,912,915 was granted on Tuesday, nearly 10 years after its initial submission in 2001 by Sergey Brin.

The patents title is “Systems and Methods for Enticing Users to a Web Site,” while the patent itself is for the invention of “periodically changing story line and/or special event company logo to entice users to access a web page.”

Put more simply, this basically means that Google has patented its practice of changing its logo for special events.
