Google Instant Service Does Not Affect SEO According to Expert
A leading SEO expert claims that Google Instant has not changed SEO in the slightest and that Google has in fact not changed its alogorithm to implement the service.
Jake Hird commented that the new Google Instant service, which debuted in September 2010 and essentially acts as a search before you type service, has had no effect on how pages are ranked within the Google search engine.
He claims the traditional SEO fundamentals are still as important as they always were, stating “You’re still looking at things like your content, your specific keywords, link building, that kind of stuff.”
He claims that Instant was designed for a better user experience rather than to affect SEO, with the service intended to save around two seconds per search.
