Google Introducing Faster iPhone App for Search Engines
Google have announced that they will be looking to boost the speed of their web search application on the iPhone and will be releasing a brand new version of its Google Mobile iPhone app.
The app, which will be simply titled Google Search, has overhauled the interface of the existing application and should make it much easier for users to conduct searches as soon as the app is launched.
“There are now more ways to interact with the app,” said Google in a March 15 blog post.
If a user swipes the screen from left to right they will be able to toggle a new toolbar that will allow them to filter search results. Swiping down will bring up the search bar.
“For those who use other Google apps, there’s an Apps button at the bottom of the screen for rapid access to the mobile versions of our products,” said Google.
