Google Offers 3D Images of Royal Wedding Route

Google have provided a special view of the royal wedding route via their Google Earth service, allowing armchair viewers the ability to follow the entire route in 3D via the company’s bird’s eye view of the area.

The search company has expanded its 3D imagery to include the entire wedding procession, which heads from Westminster Abbey through to Buckingham Palace.

The route takes in many of the sights of London, including Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, 10 Downing Street and the Royal Mall before finally arriving at the final destination in Buckingham Palace.

According to the Telegraph: “To see all the landmarks and greenery in Google Earth, tick the ‘3D buildings box’ in the left-hand panel under “Layers,” then type “London” into the search bar on the top left and use the navigation controls on the upper right to zoom in, spin around and tilt the view. Or users can access the shot via visiting ‘Earth View’ on Google Maps in the browser.”
