Hackers Strike Dutch Police After Arrest of Teenager
A number of websites belonging to Dutch computer crime police forces and a group of prosecutors have all been attacked a day after the arrest of a 16 year old boy in relation to denial of service attacks carried out in support of WikiLeaks.
A spokesperson for the Netherlands National Police Service confirmed that the police website and that belonging to the National Prosecutor’s Office were offline for much of Friday due to the attack.
Janus didn’t connect the website downtime to the WikiLeaks attacks, but it seems likely given the amount of attacks currently ongoing.
