#inthezone 20: The next level!

WELCOME EVERYONE! Excited as to what we have planned for you all? Good! We have some amazing things to announce this week. It’s #inthezone 20 and we’re celebrating 20 weeks of a successful segment…and what better way to do that than writing the most amazing article ever conceived? Which means if read up until the end of this blog, you’re guaranteed happiness for eternity (or something like that).

This week we’re starting off with a little story:

Wow Zone CEO Qasim Majid woke up on Monday morning and had this feeling that it was going to be a great day! Why? Because Monday was the day he would visit Solihull College (for reasons we’ll get to). He went to see Jas Rohel and Shaun Hindle, both amazing staff members at the college. After some coffee, a long chat and some awkward stares from a few teenagers…it was set in stone.  We officially confirmed Solihull College as the venue for our Digital Zone Seminar! The date for this Digital Marketing event is Wednesday 27th April so keep that date in your calendars! To recap:

• Date: Wednesday 27th April
• Venue: Solihull College – Blossomfield Campus

We’re really excited to work with Solihull College in order to host an amazing event. Thank you, Jas and Shaun, for your help. But wait, that’s not all the good news. The biggest part is yet to come…we’re saving the best for last.

In other news, we have ordered (and received) 6 brand spanking new laptops for our office! They’re sleeker than Akber’s pick up lines along with some amazing specs! Being extremely fast in nature allows us to literally take our client service to new heights! To put it into perspective for you, our current desktop PCs have a 2GB ram (which is good). The laptops we ordered have an outstanding 8GB ram, making them 4 times faster than our PCs! Saying “we’re excited” really is an understatement as to how we’re feeling. It feels as if it’s the dawn of another incredible chapter for us! Get ready, Wow Zone is pulling out all the stops. If you’re an existing client, this means our service is that much smoother and streamlined. On the left you can see Matthew modelling one of them for us!

Now, for the unbelievable news. When we were brainstorming, the main concept we kept coming back to was to provide real value for our seminar attendees. Well, we hit the jackpot! Google have agreed to attend AND give a talk at our Digital Zone Seminar…yes you read it right, GOOGLE. No need to pinch yourself, you’re not dreaming! But it wasn’t easy, we had to put ourselves through exams and various checks to make sure we’re qualified and have the ability.

As you know, most SEO strategies are devised with the objective to rank number 1 on Google. Having Google at our event will provide everyone with the information they need to take their business to the next level.

The central theme for this week’s post is taking your business to the next level. It’s easy to stay where you are and get comfortable with your surroundings, but as time changes so do your surroundings. When your surroundings are not the same as they were, it can leave a person confused. Trying something you tried 1 year ago may not work now, that’s why it’s VITAL that you are always stepping up your game. In a competitive market like ours, we have to go above and beyond for our customers. With our seminar, we are implicating the same concept! It would’ve been okay finding a few standard guest speakers. But we won’t allow ourselves to settle for “okay” and you should not do the same with your business! Google is a giant influence in the industry we are currently in, but we still managed to grab their attention. What’s stopping you from doing the same thing?
